| LHM Staff in Myanmar Witness Chaos in Deadly Cyclone's Wake
St. Louis, MO, May. 9, 2008 — Lutheran Hour Ministries (LHM) has received e-mails from local staff in Myanmar saying that they survived the cyclone unharmed, and that there was no serious damage to the ministry center office. However, the scenes that they have described - bodies floating around and severe destruction of the infrastructure - are horrific.
"People are feeling so frustrated and hopeless," one staff member wrote.
